Solid Oak Live Edge Table with Blue Epoxy – Live Edge

Bring the serene coastal atmosphere into your dining room with this breathtaking solid oak live edge table. This stunning piece is a perfect example of our exclusive bespoke craftsmanship: a unique blue epoxy resin table, designed as a 'river table' and enriched with personal coastal elements such as genuine shells cast into the resin. The natural live edge (wavy bark contours) accentuates the pure, robust character of the oak.

Because we craft everything by hand in our own workshop, you are the designer. You decide on the dimensions, the epoxy colour, the steel base, and the final tone of the wood.

• Material: Solid oak from Turkey (Sustainably sourced from trees at the end of their natural life cycle).
• Design: Live edge dining table with blue epoxy and subtly embedded beach finds.
• Finish: Treated with our refined wood oil for superior moisture protection and a rich depth of colour to suit your taste.
• Bespoke: Fully tailored to your wishes, including a choice of various steel bases.
• Local Craftsmanship: Handmade in our workshop in Zevenhuizen.

A Coastline in your Dining Room: The Oak River Table

Are you looking for a dining table that immediately catches the eye and tells a personal story? This live edge table of solid oak is a true work of natural art. The organic live edges preserve the authentic, undulating shape of the tree, creating a robust look that fits seamlessly into both modern and industrial interiors. What makes this epoxy resin table truly spectacular is the sparkling blue river that elegantly connects the wood.

Personal Elements in the Epoxy 'Frozen'

Wood is a living material and naturally contains cracks and deep knots. To make the table perfectly flat, exceptionally hygienic and easy to maintain, we fill these spaces with high-quality epoxy. This prevents any food residue or crumbs from getting trapped in the slab.

For this particular project, the client chose to give the dining table a real 'beach' theme by having dry objects, such as seashells, cast into the resin. We can incorporate various personal items into the epoxy, ensuring your table is not just a piece of furniture, but a tangible and unique keepsake.

100% Bespoke Craftsmanship from the Netherlands

This piece of furniture is a beautiful example of our bespoke options. Because there is nothing we love more than bringing your dream table to life, we give you complete control:

• Choose your own wood: You are very welcome to visit our showroom in Zevenhuizen to hand-pick the raw planks yourself. We work in an environmentally responsible way: our tables are crafted from trees that had to be felled for safety reasons, urban development or natural old age. We never fell healthy trees.
• The Enhanced Wood Oil: Proper protection is crucial. We treat your live edge table with a solvent-free, 100% natural wood oil. This penetrates deep into the oak, providing optimal protection against dirt and moisture. We can also pigment the oil: would you like to retain the natural, light tone, or go for a sophisticated, warmer and darker glow? The choice is yours. Please note: As wood is a living material that reacts to moisture, we advise keeping your indoor humidity around 50-60% to keep your table in perfect condition.
• The Base: To support the heavy table top, you need a solid foundation. Combine your table top with a steel base of your choice (such as the black spider leg in the photos) or opt for U-legs and X-legs, finished to the perfect seating height.
