About us

Since 2014, we have imported a wide assortment of various tabletops of exclusive wood types. With an assortment of more than 4000 live edge tables, we are the live edge table outlet for the Netherlands and Belgium region. The wood types we offer are olive, juniper, cedar, and eucalyptus wood. Here we differ from the Dutch market, which is fully saturated by wood originating from the Far East. We obtain our wood in Turkey and are fully present during the manufacturing process, allowing us to guarantee that the wood is completely sustainably sourced. Additionally, the shorter sea route between Turkey and the Netherlands compared to the Far East means that our products leave a smaller CO2 footprint.

In this process, we are the producer, so all intermediaries are avoided. This allows us on the one hand to ensure that workers in Turkey are paid better and on the other hand that consumers are offered competitive prices.

Unique signature

Besides their origin, our tabletops distinguish themselves in their unique signature. When you step into our showroom, your senses are immediately stimulated by the refreshing scent of cedar wood spread by the sawdust and tabletops. Besides its unique scent, cedar wood is characterized by its robustness. This wood type has been used in shipbuilding for centuries.

For both Turks and Greeks, olive trees signify important values such as peace and fertility. These wise trees grow slowly and are very sturdy in stature. Herein they differ from other wood types that mainly ascend vertically and avoid width. From a more practical point of view, olive wood is therefore more suitable for making coffee tables and vanity tops, as it is difficult to manufacture a solid tabletop from olive wood.

Frequently asked questions

Prices start at €600 to €1000 per square metre for a solid live edge table. The final figure depends on the species, the dimensions, the base, and how much labour and resin the piece needs. You are welcome to visit the showroom in Zevenhuizen to see the wood in person, or request a quote online.

Yes. Every top in our range of more than four hundred slabs is solid timber and comes from one single piece — no glued-up sections, no veneer.

Yes, to the centimetre. We start from raw slabs that are sometimes 4 or 5 metres long and cut them to your length in our own workshop. If a slab is too wide for your room we can narrow it, or saw one side straight so the table sits flush against the wall while keeping the flowing live edge on the other side.

Oak, cedar, olive, eucalyptus and juniper. Olive is characterful and robust with strong figure; cedar has a distinctive scent and stands up well to moisture; oak is the calm, classic choice. In the showroom you can see and feel the slabs side by side.

On average 4 to 8 weeks for a fully bespoke, finished table. Our large in-house stock of dried slabs is what keeps us ahead of the usual wait. Showroom pieces are sometimes available immediately.

A 3-metre table comfortably seats 8 to 10 people: 3 wide armchairs or 4 dining chairs per long side, plus a seat at each end. Placing the legs thoughtfully can win you a little more room.

Yes. Our slabs come from trees that had reached the end of their natural life, or that had to be felled for safety or redevelopment. Rather than let that timber go to waste, we give it a second life as a piece of furniture.
