Extensive Description
Cedar driftwood as a bathroom countertop
Long dark lines run through the pale cedar. Knots and irregular edges reveal the wood's structure. A deep recess on the right gives the top a distinctive profile. The front edge remains irregular, while the upper surface provides space for the basin and everyday items.
A natural outline beside white fittings
The photographs show a white vessel basin on the right of the top, with a tall silver-coloured tap behind it. The wood sits above a white cabinet with an open towel shelf, making its dark edge stand out against the pale setting. A wood strip beneath the mirror repeats a similar natural contour at eye level.
The top from different angles
The gallery shows the finished bathroom arrangement and a closer view along the front edge. The wider image reveals the proportions of the wood, basin and cabinet. Close up, the grain, dark lines and thickness of the natural edge become clearer. The room setting provides ideas for pairing a top with your own bathroom fittings.
A custom wood vanity top
For your own top, we consider the available wood and your bathroom layout together. These choices shape the design:
- Wood and outline: the cedar grain, natural edge and space required beside the basin.
- Layout and dimensions: the fit with your cabinet, tap position and required cut-outs.
- Finish and care: a suitable surface finish and practical maintenance advice for use in your bathroom.
