Cedar Wood Vanity Top with Routed Basins and Epoxy

Transform your bathroom into a true wellness sanctuary with this unique, solid cedar vanity top. What makes this bathroom furniture truly spectacular are the integrated basins carved seamlessly out of the solid wood. Combined with beautiful shades of epoxy resin filling the natural fissures, it creates a masterpiece that is both rustic and ultra-modern. Every slab is entirely bespoke and handmade in our own workshop in Zevenhuizen.

• 100% Bespoke: The photos are purely for inspiration; you choose the dimensions, the base, the colour and transparency of the epoxy, and your preferred finish.
• Material: Solid Cedar (known for its warm, fiery grain and wonderful, soothing aroma).
• Unique Design: Basins routed directly into the solid wood.
• Local & Sustainable: Handmade in Zevenhuizen from wood given a second life; healthy trees are never felled.
• Practical: The epoxy fills natural gaps completely, creating a glass-smooth surface that is easy to clean.
• Treatment: Protected against moisture, cup rings and dirt with our enhanced wood oil.

A Wellness Dream with Seamless Milled-In Sinks

The bathroom is where you begin and end your day in peace. This exclusive cedar vanity top elevates that experience to an unprecedented level of luxury. Instead of a standard countertop basin, our craftsmen have milled the sinks directly into the solid wood. This requires exceptional craftsmanship and ensures a flawless, organic 'flow' in your bathroom furniture.

The Magic of Cedar and Epoxy

Solid cedar was used for this centrepiece. Cedar stimulates the senses; it is renowned for its wonderful, characteristic, and soothing aroma,. Visually, the wood is striking thanks to a beautiful, often flame-patterned grain and warm colour tones. Because we respect the natural shapes and crevices (the 'live edge'), we fill the open knots and cracks with high-quality epoxy. The resin preserves the wood and makes the table water-repellent,. Unlike a raw live edge table with crevices, an epoxy resin table is completely sealed. This creates an extremely hygienic surface where no dirt can get trapped.

Enhanced Wood Oil for Ultimate Protection and Colour

Wooden furniture in a damp bathroom demands robust protection. We finish the vanity top with an enhanced, colour-deepening wood oil. You decide the character: you can choose to accentuate the red glow (warmer) or tone it down for a modern, matt look.

Sustainable Craftsmanship from the Netherlands

At iQonya, we select our wood with great respect for nature. Our slabs come from trees that were at the end of their natural life cycle, or that had to be felled for safety or restructuring reasons. Instead of letting this wood go to waste, we give it a beautiful second life as a unique piece of furniture.

100% Bespoke with a Unique Template Service

Because bathroom walls are rarely 100% square, we offer a unique cardboard template service to prevent unsightly gaps. You first make a template from cardboard at home that fits perfectly. We then use this template in our workshop to cut the wood to that exact shape, ensuring a 100% perfect fit.

Design Your Own Vanity Top

We warmly invite you to our showroom and timber yard in Zevenhuizen. Here, you can select the raw planks of cedar (or olive wood and juniper) yourself. Together, we determine the dimensions, the shade of the oil, and the colour of the epoxy to bring your dream piece of furniture to life.
