Sustainably and Responsibly Sourced Wood

When creating our furniture, respect for nature is paramount. For our tables, never is a healthy tree felled. All the olive wood we use is 100% sustainably and responsibly sourced. This means we only use trees that have died a natural death due to severe weather, or those that had to be removed for construction or changing land-use plans. By saving these trees from the incinerator, we give them a beautiful second life in our workshop.

The Strength of Olive Root Wood

Olive wood is naturally one of the hardest and most characterful timbers in the world. The root, however, is the absolute heart of the tree. This is where the wood is at its most compact, heavy and wildly figured. In our workshop, this specific root has been cleaned with the utmost care. All soft wood, sand and dirt have been meticulously removed (sandblasted and brushed), leaving only the rock-hard heartwood. This gives the table its raw, weathered yet luxurious look.

With a generous diameter of 100 cm this glass table offers more than enough space for your drinks, snacks or decorations. The height of 70 cm makes it ideal for a higher seating area or lounge set.
