Two companion coffee tables made from a single olive wood slab, with dark epoxy and decorative details inspired by the sea. Shells, starfish shapes and a striking crab detail sit among the expressive grain. Rounded corners and dark metal bases bring the pieces together as a playful duo for your living room.

The furniture shown is an example of our bespoke work. We make your own version in our workshop in Zevenhuizen. Together, we discuss dimensions, wood selection, epoxy colour, finish and base. Price on request.

A design with its own character

One solid olive wood slab was divided into two pieces for this duo. Related grain patterns give the tables a sense of belonging together, while each top has its own composition. The dark epoxy contrasts with the warm wood and pale decorative elements.

Wood, epoxy and finish

The photographs show shells, starfish shapes and a crab-shaped detail in the epoxy. The glossy surface and rounded corners reveal the different layers. Dark metal bases give both tables a clear, simple foundation.

The story in the photographs

Alongside the finished pair and close-up details, you can see the raw wood pieces and a layout before the epoxy filling. The images follow the same wood from beginning to end. For your own design, we discuss which decorative ideas are technically suitable for embedding in epoxy.

Your own made-to-measure version

The design shown is an example. In our workshop in Zevenhuizen, we work with you to decide how your furniture will look. We tailor the piece to your space and how you will use it:

Wood and shape: Choose the wood and outline that suit your interior together with us.
Epoxy and finish: Discuss the colour, appearance and any decorative details.
Dimensions and base: Adapt the size, height and base to your requirements.

"We searched a lot to find a place where we could have a variety of choices. I can say that it was a great experience because we could do the painting ourselves. The quality of the wood is high and they send it to us on time. Very friendly management. The table has given a lot of grandeur to our living room. Thank you iqonya.🙏🏻😍"

"After seeing rivertables for the first time on the internet I found Iqonya. The original plan was to let them make a table with a ‘blue’ river. Long story short they made a fantastic table for me , not with a blue epoxy river but with a gray river. Combination of expoxy and Olivetree wood is fantastic. I was invited to Iqonya to be present during a part of the fabrication and we were able to add certain personal items in the table. I’ve added some sea sand and coins from Lebanon. I really , really like my rivertable , it still amazes me every day when I see it. Best piece of furniture I ever bought. Rose had given me great advice about making the best possible table."
