An olive tree grows slowly, often twisting and turning. To obtain a solid, round cross-section measuring 110 centimetres across, the tree must literally have been hundreds of years old. With this round coffee table, you are bringing centuries of history into your home. The slab is not made of glued-together planks, but is a single, continuous masterpiece from Mother Nature. The spectacular concentric growth rings, the pale sapwood edges and the dark, wild heartwood flow beautifully into one another.

When creating these masterpieces, respect for nature comes first. We guarantee that for our tables never a healthy tree is ever felled. We only use wood that we can give a second life. This includes trees that have come down due to the forces of nature, such as severe lightning strikes, storm damage or forest fires. We also rescue trees that had to be cleared for redevelopment and planning changes (such as road building or urban development). By reclaiming this wood instead of letting it go to waste, we create a completely ecological and sustainable centrepiece for your living room.
Robust and Imposing (6 cm thick)
A generous diameter of 1.2 metres deserves a substantial presence. That is why this round coffee table is a striking 6 centimetres thick. This not only gives the table a luxurious, solid character, but also ensures the wood remains stable and will last for generations. The round, organic shape is also the perfect, softening counterpart to sleek sofas and straight walls in your living room.

Epoxy Finish: Would you prefer a completely flat and practical surface? For an additional fee, we can fill these openings with epoxy resin in our Zevenhuizen workshop. Choose transparent to preserve the depth, or go for a striking coloured pour (such as black, blue or gold) for a luxurious contrast.
