Ancient olive trees are full of natural holes, knots and cracks. This gives the wood its beloved, weathered character. However, a coffee table with open holes is impractical when you want to set down glasses. The solution? In our workshop, we meticulously fill these natural imperfections with a high-quality epoxy. For this model, we deliberately chose not to go with an eye-catching, coloured 'epoxy river', but rather for small, subtle fills,. This ensures you retain the flat, practical and mirror-smooth surface of a luxury coffee table, while preserving the illusion of deep, natural holes in the wood.

In our workshop in Zevenhuizen, we craft these olive wood slabs entirely by hand.

• The Slab: The table shown is just one example of what is possible. You are very welcome to choose a raw olive wood slab yourself, selecting the shape and character that speaks to you most.
• The Base: To do justice to the heavy, solid wood, we often mount the slabs on sturdy, black steel legs. This is also bespoke: you choose the height and design of the base yourself.
