Oak is an absolute favourite in the interior design world, prized for its unrivalled strength and warm, timeless character. What immediately catches the eye in this design is the spectacular grain of the wood. The natural 'live edge' – the sides that follow the original, undulating shape of the trunk – beautifully breaks up the harsh, straight lines of a modern interior. The wild growth rings, warm golden-brown tones and deep, dark knots tell the rich history of the oak.

Your Table, Your Choices

Because we work from raw oak slabs, you are in complete control:

• The Dimensions: Do you have a large U-shaped sofa and need a coffee table that is 160 cm long? Or perhaps a compact 80 cm model? We cut it to the exact millimetre.
• The Edge Character: Do you like an extremely wild live edge, or do you prefer a subtle, gentle curve?
• The Finish: We treat the table with a high-quality oil or lacquer to prevent rings and stains. You can opt for an ultra-matt look, or an oil that makes the oak slightly darker and warmer.
• The Base: In the photo, the table is fitted with robust, black steel U-legs for an industrial contrast. However, you can also choose X-legs, spider legs or a wooden base from our collection.
