Bespoke olive wood vanity top with epoxy and a stone basin

We made this olive wood vanity top to measure and supplied the grey stone vessel basin for the bathroom. Strongly figured grain, an irregular live edge and visible epoxy fills give the top its character. The basin has a textured exterior and a smooth inner surface with fine pale lines.

Olive wood with an irregular live edge

Broad, flowing grain lines, small knots and dark cavities run through the warm olive wood. The front edge follows the natural outline, with pronounced curves and recesses. The top extends beyond the cabinet on the right, while the basin sits to the left. This arrangement shows how a natural slab outline can create space around a single wash area.

Epoxy within the natural wood shapes

The close-ups reveal both dark and see-through epoxy areas between the irregular wood sections. The timber structure remains visible through the transparent fills. These are localised resin details rather than one wide, straight river running through the top. A stone vessel basin supplied by iQonya

We supplied the grey stone basin used with this wooden top. Its rough-textured exterior contrasts with the smooth interior and fine pale markings. A tall tap stands beside the bowl in the photographs. The exact stone type has not been recorded for this project; the basin, waste and tap for your commission are agreed individually.
