A Coastline in Your Living Room
This coffee table is cut from a single slice of juniper wood with a deeply eroded, irregular edge. Rather than squaring it off, we followed its natural contours: the teal epoxy resin was poured right up against the live edge, so the boundary between wood and colour is the exact line drawn by the tree itself. Seen from above, the table top reads like a stretch of coastline, complete with bays, headlands, and an isolated island just offshore.
Translucent Turquoise with Depth Below
We deliberately kept the epoxy resin semi-translucent rather than opaque. Where the layer is thin, you can see the cloudy swirls of the pour itself; where it deepens, the light sinks into dark sea-green. Along the exposed edge, this effect is at its most striking: looking in from the side of the slab, the embedded bark and wood fragments catch the light in shades of amber, like peering through clear water onto a reef. Framing it all is the pale juniper timber, with its exceptionally even growth rings and visible pith at the centre.
Sustainability with a Story

We work exclusively with sustainably sourced timber from trees that have reached the end of their life cycle through natural causes — such as lightning, storms, or simply old age. It is precisely the weathering this tree sustained that shapes the slab, defining the coastline captured within it.
