A design with its own character

The natural inner edges of the juniper frame a line of cameras. In the finished river, green and blue tones surround the black and silver camera bodies. Each wood section retains its knots, changing colours and flowing grain.

Wood, epoxy and finish

The detail photographs show wood, camera equipment and epoxy brought together in one tabletop. The wood is smoothly finished, and the cameras remain visible through the resin. For a new design, we first discuss which personal objects are suitable for embedding.

The story in the photographs

The cameras are positioned between the wood sections in the mould before casting. The before and after photographs show the same arrangement. Read the personal story behind this table in our existing article about a tribute to a photographer.

"We searched a lot to find a place where we could have a variety of choices. I can say that it was a great experience because we could do the painting ourselves. The quality of the wood is high and they send it to us on time. Very friendly management. The table has given a lot of grandeur to our living room. Thank you iqonya.🙏🏻😍"

"After seeing rivertables for the first time on the internet I found Iqonya. The original plan was to let them make a table with a ‘blue’ river. Long story short they made a fantastic table for me , not with a blue epoxy river but with a gray river. Combination of expoxy and Olivetree wood is fantastic. I was invited to Iqonya to be present during a part of the fabrication and we were able to add certain personal items in the table. I’ve added some sea sand and coins from Lebanon. I really , really like my rivertable , it still amazes me every day when I see it. Best piece of furniture I ever bought. Rose had given me great advice about making the best possible table."
