A live edge side table beside your sofa
A side table keeps a cup, book or lamp within reach. Its design starts with height and access. We select a compact wooden top and base together to suit the particular spot where you want to use it.

Height beside the armrest
Measure the seat, armrest and available space. The table should be easy to reach without blocking the walkway. A cardboard outline helps you judge whether the natural edge leaves enough usable surface.
Stability at a smaller scale
A small top can still be heavy. Base and weight distribution must suit the shape. Discuss the floor, intended use and any lamp you plan to place on it. We assess the top and base as a complete design.
Coordinating the wood
Cedar and olive wood are options; resin can incorporate openings into the design. Bring photographs of your furniture if you want a coordinated piece. Each section of wood retains its own grain and natural edge.

Tell us about the existing timber and finish and bring photographs. We look for a coordinated combination while preserving the character of each piece.
Can I specify the height?
For a commission, we agree height together with top size and base. For an existing piece, we first assess whether alterations are possible.
