Round Olive Wood Epoxy Resin Table 'Black Contrast': A Circle of Natural Luxury

Where organic perfection and modern design meet.

This breathtaking round dining table is the ultimate statement piece for those who dare to choose something truly special. It combines the warm, Mediterranean feel of solid olive wood with the bold, modern look of black epoxy. The round shape breaks up the straight lines of an interior, instantly creating an intimate, cosy atmosphere for dinners or meetings.

The Character of Olive Wood

The table top is crafted from carefully selected olive wood. Olive wood is renowned for its 'wild', highly expressive grain, with colour tones ranging from golden yellow to deep brown. The rugged knots and natural cavities of the wood have been left visible, giving the table its authentic 'live edge' character.

The Drama of Black Epoxy

To accentuate the natural shapes of the olive wood, the spaces between the wood are filled with an opaque, deep black epoxy resin. This creates a dramatic, powerful contrast. The black makes the fiery grain of the wood pop, as if surrounded by volcanic rock. As shown in the photo, the finish is polished to a mirror-like high gloss, offering incredible depth and a luxurious feel.

Bespoke Craftsmanship

A table like this is more than just a purchase; it is an investment in a unique piece of furniture that will last a lifetime. Because every olive tree grows differently, no two table tops are exactly alike.

We handcraft this round epoxy resin table entirely to your specifications in our workshop in the Netherlands:

• Dimensions: Choose the perfect diameter for your space (for example, 120 cm, 140 cm or larger. The table pictured actually has a diameter of 200 cm).
• Finish: Will you go for the striking high gloss shown here, or do you prefer a subtle satin or matte finish?
• Base: Pair the slab with a base of your choice. A central steel 'matrix' or 'spider' leg looks stunning under a round table and offers maximum legroom.

Specifications:

• Material: Solid, wildly grained olive wood (sourced from Turkey).
• Epoxy: Opaque deep black, UV-resistant, or any other colour of your choice.
• Shape: Round (with live edge influences in the slab).
• Lead time: Four to six weeks
