Round Cedar Live Edge Table with Epoxy – Solid and bespoke

Bring warmth and togetherness to your dining room with this solid round live edge table crafted from cedar. Round tables are having a real moment; they soften the straight lines of an interior and bring everyone into the conversation. This unique slab features the gorgeous blonde tones of cedar and its distinctive growth rings. The natural fissures in the solid timber have been artfully filled with dark epoxy, giving it a contemporary and refined finishing touch. Handcrafted in Zevenhuizen.

• Shape: Round (the ultimate for sociable dining)
• Material: Solid cedar (light in tone & aromatic)
• Detail: Natural fissures filled with black/dark epoxy, with copper or gold accents.

Dining in the Round: A New Way to Gather

Forget the traditional rectangular table; a round dining table is the ultimate way to set the mood. With no one at the head of the table, conversation takes centre stage. This solid cedar table is more than just a piece of furniture; it’s a social hub for your kitchen or living room. As you can see in the photos, the table top offers plenty of space for large gatherings, while the round shape keeps the room feeling soft and organic.

The Magic of Cedar & Epoxy We love cedar for its unique qualities.

• The Look: Cedar has a warm, light colour and a beautiful, striking grain. Because this table top is crafted from solid sections, the growth rings and the tree's life story are beautifully visible.
• The Contrast: Wood is a living material and naturally contains cracks and knots. Instead of sawing these away, we embrace them. We fill these imperfections with a high-quality dark epoxy,. This creates a striking contrast: the light, soft wood against the hard, dark resin. It makes the table flat and practical to use, without losing its raw character.
• The Scent: A subtle detail is the scent; cedar is known for its pleasant, aromatic fragrance that brings a sense of wellness into your home.

Solid, Bespoke Craftsmanship from the Netherlands

In our workshop in the Netherlands, we handcraft these tables.

• Diameter: Whether you are looking for an intimate 120 cm table or a generous statement piece of 160 cm or larger, we make the table top to measure.
• Finish: The table is treated with a high-quality lacquer or oil that protects the wood against rings and stains, while preserving its natural, matte appearance.
• Base: A round table calls for a central leg. In the photo, you can see a steel matrix base (spider leg). This is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also practical: you can slide your chairs in anywhere around the table without being hindered by table legs.
