Model lorries and other company objects sit between olive-wood sections in this epoxy conference table. Green, blue and warm colour accents add depth to the inlays. The long tabletop on a black steel base brings these objects into the meeting room.

A design with its own character

Irregular olive-wood pieces form islands within a continuous epoxy top. Small vehicles and other objects are embedded between the wood. Clear areas of resin reveal the objects, while coloured areas emphasise the wood contours.

Wood, epoxy and finish

The table has an elongated top with rounded corners and a black steel base with angled legs. Warm olive wood contrasts with the dark base. Detail photographs show how the model vehicles and wood grain come together from different viewpoints.

The story in the photographs

The gallery combines the finished design, embedded company objects and a photograph of the raw wood sections. For your own conference table, we discuss the layout and suitability of the objects before making the mould. This design shows how a business can include its own story in a tabletop.

"After seeing rivertables for the first time on the internet I found Iqonya. The original plan was to let them make a table with a ‘blue’ river. Long story short they made a fantastic table for me , not with a blue epoxy river but with a gray river. Combination of expoxy and Olivetree wood is fantastic. I was invited to Iqonya to be present during a part of the fabrication and we were able to add certain personal items in the table. I’ve added some sea sand and coins from Lebanon. I really , really like my rivertable , it still amazes me every day when I see it. Best piece of furniture I ever bought. Rose had given me great advice about making the best possible table."
