A green epoxy river follows the natural edges of this olive-wood dining table. Pale wood, dark knots and fine grain remain visible around the river. A black crossed steel base gives the tabletop a simple foundation.

The furniture shown is an example of our bespoke work. We make your own version in our workshop in Zevenhuizen. Together, we discuss dimensions, wood selection, epoxy colour, finish and base. Price on request.

A design with its own character

Several pieces of solid olive wood form an elongated tabletop. Green epoxy runs between the natural edges, branching around knots and openings. The grain moves from fine lines to broad, flowing patterns.

Wood, epoxy and finish

The finished surface reveals the warm olive-wood colour and variations in the green resin. The outer edge follows the shape of the wood. A black steel base with crossed legs keeps the space beneath the top open.

The story in the photographs

The photographs show the loose wood, its arrangement in the mould and the finished table. They reveal how the natural openings determine the course of the river. This is a separate design from our olive-wood tables with dark epoxy.

Your own made-to-measure version

"We searched a lot to find a place where we could have a variety of choices. I can say that it was a great experience because we could do the painting ourselves. The quality of the wood is high and they send it to us on time. Very friendly management. The table has given a lot of grandeur to our living room. Thank you iqonya.🙏🏻😍"

"After seeing rivertables for the first time on the internet I found Iqonya. The original plan was to let them make a table with a ‘blue’ river. Long story short they made a fantastic table for me , not with a blue epoxy river but with a gray river. Combination of expoxy and Olivetree wood is fantastic. I was invited to Iqonya to be present during a part of the fabrication and we were able to add certain personal items in the table. I’ve added some sea sand and coins from Lebanon. I really , really like my rivertable , it still amazes me every day when I see it. Best piece of furniture I ever bought. Rose had given me great advice about making the best possible table."
