Golden olive wood frames a deep blue epoxy river in this live edge dining table. Irregular wood pieces sit like islands within the top, with natural edges along its long sides. Close up, the epoxy shifts between blue and turquoise. Explore the raw wood layout and the finished table at home as inspiration for your own design.

The furniture shown is an example of our bespoke work. We make your own version in our workshop in Zevenhuizen. Together, we discuss dimensions, wood selection, epoxy colour, finish and base. Price on request.

A design with its own character

The blue river follows the open spaces between the olive wood pieces. Warm grain patterns and natural edges keep the wood at the heart of the design. The different wooden islands give the long composition a varied rhythm.

Wood, epoxy and finish

The detail photographs show the depth and blue-turquoise tones of the epoxy beside the golden wood. The surface reflects the light in the dining room. For your table, we coordinate the epoxy colour, finish and base.

The story in the photographs

The gallery begins with three views of the finished table at home. The final photograph shows the raw olive wood pieces on the workshop floor. The recognisable wood shapes reveal how the first layout was brought together in the final top.

"We searched a lot to find a place where we could have a variety of choices. I can say that it was a great experience because we could do the painting ourselves. The quality of the wood is high and they send it to us on time. Very friendly management. The table has given a lot of grandeur to our living room. Thank you iqonya.🙏🏻😍"

"After seeing rivertables for the first time on the internet I found Iqonya. The original plan was to let them make a table with a ‘blue’ river. Long story short they made a fantastic table for me , not with a blue epoxy river but with a gray river. Combination of expoxy and Olivetree wood is fantastic. I was invited to Iqonya to be present during a part of the fabrication and we were able to add certain personal items in the table. I’ve added some sea sand and coins from Lebanon. I really , really like my rivertable , it still amazes me every day when I see it. Best piece of furniture I ever bought. Rose had given me great advice about making the best possible table."
