Playing with Colour: Light Blue Epoxy

Characterful wood naturally contains cracks and holes. To make the table perfectly flat, hygienic and practical to use, we fill these spaces with high-quality epoxy. For this inspiration model, the customer chose a stunning light blue epoxy, This subtle addition of colour creates a beautiful, fresh contrast with the warm tones of the wood and gives the table a unique 'river table' accent. Of course, for your own table, you can also choose transparent, black or any other colour of epoxy.

Your Table, Fully Made to Measure

This piece of furniture shows what is possible, but in our workshop in Zevenhuizen, we make your table entirely bespoke.

• Determining the Tone with Enhanced Wood Oil: The finish is crucial. We treat our tables with an enhanced, high-quality wood oil which not only protects the wood extremely well against moisture and stains, but also allows us to guide the colour. Do you want to preserve the light, blonde tones of the juniper, or would you prefer us to tailor the oil so the wood gets a deeper, darker and warmer glow? You have complete control.
• The Base: A solid wood slab deserves a sturdy foundation. In the photos, the top rests on a robust, black steel spider leg base. However, you can choose any base from our collection, or supply your own.
• The Dimensions: From an intimate 160 cm table to a generous 3-metre family table; we cut the slab to the exact length and width your space requires.
