Solid Cedar Live Edge Table with Subtle Epoxy Details

Bring unparalleled warmth and a touch of nature to your dining room with this solid cedar live edge table. This beautiful model serves as perfect inspiration for your own dream table. Cedar wood is not only known for its beautiful, flaming pattern, but also stimulates the senses with a characteristic, soothing aroma that also has an insect repellent effect. The natural cracks and knots in the leaf are subtly filled with epoxy. This creates a mirror-smooth, easy-to-clean surface, without losing the raw character of the live edge.

Because we make everything by hand in our own workshop, you are the designer. You determine the exact dimensions, the type of base and the color of the epoxy.

• Material: Solid Cedar wood (Warm tones, wonderful scent and very characterful).
• Design: Features a robust 'live edge' (live edge edge) for an organic, natural appearance.
• Epoxy Detail: Small, natural openings filled with a mirror finish for optimal hygiene and comfort.
• Sustainable: Traditionally and locally made from wood from exclusively ecological and sustainable sources.
• Customization: This is a showroom model with dimensions 145 cm at 98~80 cm, we can also make your dining table exactly to your wishes.

The Charm and Character of Cedar

A dining table is the heart of your home, and this cedar table brings that heart to life. Cedar is a fantastic, expressive timber that instantly brings warmth to your interior, with colour tones ranging from light brown to a deep, reddish glow. The sides of the table retain their natural form; this live edge ensures that the connection with nature in your dining room remains intact. What makes cedar extra special is that it stimulates the senses with a wonderful, natural aroma. As natural solid wood is a living material, it reacts to the humidity in your home and may move subtly through the seasons. This is the authentic charm of a truly natural product.

Practical & Hygienic: The Strength of Epoxy

Ancient trees have a rich history, visible in their beautiful cracks and natural hollows. To ensure the table is perfectly functional for busy daily life, we fill these openings with high-quality epoxy resin. This creates a completely sealed, mirror-smooth surface. Food scraps and crumbs cannot get trapped in the knots, making the table exceptionally hygienic, giving you all the convenience of a modern table combined with the raw look of robust wood.

Your Table, 100% Local, Bespoke and Sustainably Crafted

In our workshop in Zevenhuizen, we handcraft your piece of furniture entirely made to measure. We believe in sustainability and respect for nature. That is why our table tops are sourced exclusively from trees that had reached the end of their natural life cycle, were felled by storms, or had to be cleared for urban development. We never cut down healthy trees for our tables.

You also have complete creative control:

• The Dimensions: We cut and finish the slab to the exact length and width that fits your space perfectly. This table is 145 in length and 98~80 in width.
• The Base: Combine the robust slab with a base of your choice. Go for maximum legroom with a steel matrix leg (spider leg), or choose sturdy U-legs or X-legs. Prices exclude the base.
