This juniper dining table has the soft outline of a pebble, with rounded ends and natural long edges. Dark epoxy follows the spaces between the wood pieces. Natural oil deepens the colour and brings out the grain. The before-and-after photographs show how separate pieces become a calm, organic whole.

The furniture shown is an example of our bespoke work. We make your own version in our workshop in Zevenhuizen. Together, we discuss dimensions, wood selection, epoxy colour, finish and base. Price on request.

A design with its own character

The pebble shape brings rounded ends and irregular sides together in one long tabletop. The grain flows alongside dark epoxy channels. The result has a soft outline while retaining the original character of the juniper.

Wood, epoxy and finish

Natural oil was used to deepen the wood colour in this design. The warm tones contrast with the dark epoxy and glossy surface. The dining-room photographs show how the rounded shape relates to the chairs around it.

The story in the photographs

The gallery shows the table at home from two directions, the finished top in the workshop and the original separate juniper pieces. In that raw layout, you can recognise the lines that later define the finished design.

"We searched a lot to find a place where we could have a variety of choices. I can say that it was a great experience because we could do the painting ourselves. The quality of the wood is high and they send it to us on time. Very friendly management. The table has given a lot of grandeur to our living room. Thank you iqonya.🙏🏻😍"

"After seeing rivertables for the first time on the internet I found Iqonya. The original plan was to let them make a table with a ‘blue’ river. Long story short they made a fantastic table for me , not with a blue epoxy river but with a gray river. Combination of expoxy and Olivetree wood is fantastic. I was invited to Iqonya to be present during a part of the fabrication and we were able to add certain personal items in the table. I’ve added some sea sand and coins from Lebanon. I really , really like my rivertable , it still amazes me every day when I see it. Best piece of furniture I ever bought. Rose had given me great advice about making the best possible table."
