Bespoke juniper wood bar table for tall stools

This juniper wood bar table brings a distinctive live edge top to a tall seating arrangement. Pale wood sections and reddish-brown areas run beside a blue-grey centre strip. The black base has open geometric sides with crossing diagonal lines.

A tall live edge table for bar stools

Both overview photographs look along the table from one end, with tall stools on either side. The surface is clearly higher than a conventional dining table. For your own design, we begin with the stools you intend to use and the seating position you want. The top height, knee room and base position are then discussed together.

Pale and reddish-brown juniper wood

Broad pale areas meet warmer reddish-brown wood sections across the top. The long edges follow an irregular outline, with wider curves and narrower places. The overhead view reveals the grain around knots and darker lines. The wood selected for your commission will determine the particular colours and contours that come together.

A blue-grey centre within the top

A blue-grey strip runs between the wood sections and changes in width along its length. Smaller blue areas are also visible near the front edge. This gives the centre a different appearance from the warm timber around it. For your own design, we discuss the look and specification of such details before recording the agreed commission.

A black geometric base with diagonals

The open black sides have rectangular outlines with crossing diagonal members. The stools in the photographs also have open black frames, keeping the tall arrangement visually light.
