# iQonya public catalogue API

Use this read-only API to find iQonya's published epoxy tables, live edge tables, coffee tables, wooden vanity tops and meeting tables. It is suitable for comparing listed pieces, quoting published prices and linking a customer to the original product page.

## Access and limitations

No API key is required. Website country restrictions also apply to this API and Markdown representations. The data is the same published catalogue snapshot used by the website. Stock labels and listed prices require confirmation with the workshop. A null price means a quote is required. Delivery, custom dimensions and lead times are not guaranteed by the API. It cannot order products, submit enquiries, book appointments or send messages.

- [Catalogue](https://www.iqonya.nl/api/catalogue): GET, with optional locale=nl, en, de or fr (default nl).
- Product lookup: GET /api/catalogue?locale=en&slug=<slug-from-catalogue>. This returns the same envelope with one product.

Example: GET https://www.iqonya.nl/api/catalogue?locale=en

The response has source, language, notice, count and products. Each product has id, slug, name, url, language, description, categories, images, price (number or null), currency and availability. Some translated products have no translated description; those descriptions are empty rather than silently copied from Dutch.

## Errors

Errors use application/problem+json with status, code, detail and resolution. Unsupported languages or malformed slugs return 400. Geographic restrictions return 403 with code country_restricted. An unknown product or API route returns 404. Catalogue write attempts return 405 and Allow: GET, HEAD, OPTIONS.

## Markdown pages

Request a public page with Accept: text/markdown to receive its text summary, catalogue links or article text. HTML remains available with Accept: text/html. Markdown responses include Vary: Accept. Unknown pages return a Markdown explanation with HTTP 404 and recovery links.
